It has been found that many home sellers hire a real estate agent based not on his or her qualifications, but more on how comfortable the agent makes them feel. This is simply wrong.
When you solicit the services of any possible real estate agent when selling your home, it can feel as if you are being interviewed, but in actuality, the reverse should be true.
They will do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable and enter a submissive position so that you will sign the sales agreement to have them represent you as the primary sales agent.
But consider that while they were spending time and/or money making you feel comfortable, they are actually looking for a job; and that job would be you, or specifically allowing them to sell your home in order to earn their commission.
There is nothing wrong with this; real estate agents acting in a professional manner shoud be admired and complimented for their almost extreme efforts and the resulting commissions they receive.
