I am considering selling my home but uncertain if using a real estate agent only wastes 6 percent of the sale price. I have spoken with a few other people that have used real estate agents and the sellers just felt that the agents were liars just to get them to sign a contract.
Is it true that real estate agents are liars and will say anything just to get a listing. Also, is this a good time to sell or is it true that no one is buying houses and real estate sales are flat?
Ok can any of you other agents out there please help me. I have a home listed, I have done Realtor tours, they all say the price is perfect. I do Open House every weekend, it is all over the internet and the Real Estate books, I am even giving a bonus to the selling agent. It has been on the Market for 49 days. My sellers are happy with everything but I would like to get it sold before the move in their new home in September. Any ideas would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.
What is the best way to advertise a house online? I posted on Postlets, k Zillow, I got nothing. I was thinking to use sharpsales.com, the offer came with a yard sign I got at Walmart. It is going to be 20.00. Yahoo wants 50 and ebay 100, but I don’t think it is going to help. So, does anyone know another way?
My Dad and Mom bought a house 40 years ago in New York for ,000. My mom passed away 3 years ago The house is now in a trust with my sister and I for my Dad. The house is worth about 5,000 now. My Dad wants to now move , sell the house and get remarried. He only wants about5,000. Can he give the house to me as a gift or sell it at lower than market value price to avoid taxes and capital gains and then I take an equity loan to give him the money he needs?
